Ixchel Marina Amor
Ixchel Marina
is a professional artist who has been teaching art to children and
adults for over 10 years. Marina was educated in Mexico City, and
came to the United States where, together with her husband Victor
Amor, they created Art Lyceum.
As an artist
she has had solo and group art shows in Mexico and southern California. Her
art work is found in private collections and at the Diego Rivera
Museum in Guanajuato, Mexico, where she was a finalist at the "Hermenegildo
Bustos Biennal".
Marina teaches painting
at all levels: from basics in composition, color theory, techniques in acrylics,
oils, watercolors, dry mediums and mixed media; to advance techniques and experimental
work. Portfolio workshops are available upon request for students interested
on pursuing an art career. Please inquire within.

Victor Amor
Victor's artistic
career has taken him to great acomplishments: as a sculptor, he has produced
art work for many important firms, companies, film studios, and galleries,
such as: Disney
Studios, Warner Brothers casino Las Vegas, Paris Casino Las Vegas, Ceaser Palace
Casino Las Vegas. Treasure Island Casino Las Vegas, Coca-Cola Co., TV programs
: Jeopardy, TV
commercials: Clorox, Mattel, Infinity; and the Rose Parade.
Victor is currently
producing monuments for public spaces and concentrating on gallery work.
Victor was educated
in Mexico City at the National Art School " La Esmeralda". He
is represented by Absolut Gallerie in San Marino, CA. and Misrachi Gallerie
in Mexico City, Mexico. He is also the President of the Commision for
Cultural and Art events of the City of Alhambra.
The printmaking, drawing
and animation classes are under Victor's direction; as well as the hand built
pottery and sculpting workshops. |
